Issue of staff, batch and article identification numbers. With the microprocessor controller AC 2000 various processes for autoclaves can be preprogrammed.

It is possible to control these processes according to time, core temperature or to some extent F-value with or without   Delta-T values and to save them in 30 different programs, each with 30 program steps, which can be started directly or with a time delay. The gradients (start and end values)for operating and core temperatures and for autoclave pressure are freely programmable. It should be noted that due to the selection of a specially designed regulator, the autoclave pressure automatically adjusts to the actual operating temperature.

Thanks to its compact construction, the microprocessor AC 2000 is not only suitable for new units but also for modifying existing units and controls.

In the case of a power cut, the current program data are memorized so that when the power comes back on, the device carries on with the program.

The following are also monitored:

• sensors for operation and core temperatures
• pressure sensor
• the pressure of compressed air and steam

All programs are continually checked by a checksum test.
